NEW YORK — Natural gas prices slid Thursday for the fourth straight day as a fresh stack of economic data provided little evidence that the country will increase its appetite for oil and gas anytime soon.

(AP) - Crude oil prices are falling faster than gasoline prices. Even though oil prices have dropped nearly 10 percent in the last two weeks, gasoline prices have fallen less than a nickel per gallon from their 15-month peak. Triple-A says the national average gas price dropped to $2.70 per gallon today, down from $2.75 on January 14th. The average price of gasoline in Lexington is around $2.45 ...

NEW YORK - Occidental Petroleum Corp. said Thursday it more than doubled fourth-quarter earnings after cranking up oil production to take advantage of higher prices.
